Blueberry Banana Bread

One of my girl’s favourite snacks is homemade Banana Bread. I love baking this bread as my kitchen has the most delicious aroma. I have been testing a few recipes to find the perfect combination for the moistest bread. In this recipe, I have substituted sugar for Creamed Honey  and have added a ½ cup of Greek yogurt. The results were so moist that I guarantee you will go bananas over this bread!!


½ cup softened unsalted butter

½ cup quality creamed honey

2 large eggs, beaten

3 medium ripped bananas, mashed + 1 cut in half lengthwise for the top

1 tsp. pure vanilla

1½ cup all-purpose flour + 1tbsp

1 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. baking soda

½ tsp salt

½ cup Greek Vanilla Yogurt

1 cup blueberries

1 tsp. dark brown sugar



Preheat oven to 375F. Butter a 9x5 loaf pan. 

In a large bowl, beat butter and honey well.

Add eggs one at a time and beat well after each egg.

Beat in bananas & vanilla until well blended.

Stir in 11/2 cup flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.

Mix in yogurt until well combined.

Toss blueberries with remaining tablespoon of flour and mix in batter

Pour batter into loaf pan and gently top with the sliced banana, cut sides facing up. and sprinkle with  brown sugar. 

Bake for 35-45 mins until golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
